For listed businesses
Business Partner Terms
Last updated: 1 October 2026
The short version
Keep your listing accurate, don't game the recommendation system, and choose the listing level that works for you. Paid plans buy additional visibility and features — not guaranteed enquiries, bookings, recommendations or a fixed search position.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to businesses listed with The Overwhelmed Parent Co. (TOPC), including businesses using a free Basic listing and businesses subscribing to a paid Featured or Premium Featured listing.
By applying for, claiming, maintaining or paying for a business listing, you agree to these terms together with any other terms presented when you sign up.
2. Your listing
You are responsible for providing information that is accurate, current and not misleading. This includes your business name, services, service areas, contact details, links, images and any qualifications, registrations, licences or insurance you choose or are required to describe.
Please tell us when important listing information changes. You can use our Update Your Details form.
TOPC may make reasonable formatting, spelling or presentation edits so listings fit the directory consistently, without intentionally changing the substance of what you provided.
3. Listing levels and paid features
TOPC may offer Basic, Featured and Premium Featured listing levels. The features and current prices shown on our For Businesses page or at signup form part of the offer available at that time.
Paid plans provide additional visibility and features. Depending on the plan, these may include priority placement in relevant results, enhanced styling, a custom listing image, a larger desktop listing and access to Available This Week.
Paid placement does not mean TOPC endorses your business as better, safer or more suitable than another business.
4. Search placement and results
Directory results can vary with a user's search terms, filters, service area, listing tier, availability features and other directory functionality. Paid tiers may receive greater visibility within relevant results, but no plan guarantees a fixed numbered position.
TOPC does not guarantee enquiries, leads, bookings, revenue or any particular commercial outcome from a listing.
5. Community recommendations
Community recommendations belong to the community, not to a paid plan. Businesses cannot purchase recommendations and must not recommend themselves, create fake recommendations, offer incentives in exchange for misleading recommendations, or otherwise manipulate the system.
You may invite genuine customers who have personally used your business to recommend you, provided the request does not require or encourage a false or misleading recommendation.
TOPC may remove recommendations or restrict activity where we reasonably believe the feature is being manipulated or misused.
6. Available This Week
Available This Week is a Premium Featured feature. Participating businesses may be invited to provide availability for the coming week, such as available days and AM/PM periods.
You are responsible for making sure any availability you submit is accurate when provided. Availability is shown as provider-reported information and does not create or confirm a booking. If you don't submit an update for a relevant period, TOPC may show no availability badge or information for that period.
7. Monthly Parent Care Package sponsorship
TOPC may invite businesses to financially sponsor or contribute towards a Monthly Parent Care Package. Sponsorship is optional and separate from directory listing fees and features.
Sponsorship does not guarantee that the Care Package recipient will use the sponsoring business, and it does not buy or improve community recommendations, directory ranking, search position, enquiries or bookings.
TOPC may acknowledge a sponsor in connection with the Care Package where agreed. Any sponsorship amount, recognition and payment arrangements will be stated before the business confirms its sponsorship.
8. Fees, billing and introductory offers
Paid listing fees are shown before you subscribe. If an introductory or founding offer applies, the signup information will state the introductory price, how long it applies and the ongoing price that follows.
Unless otherwise stated at signup, paid listings are billed monthly until cancelled. Any applicable taxes or payment details will be shown as required during the payment process.
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. TOPC does not need to receive or store your full payment-card details where payment is handled by that provider.
9. Changing or cancelling a paid plan
You can request a plan change or cancellation through our Manage / Cancel Subscription page. You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling.
A requested cancellation or downgrade takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The existing paid tier remains active until that period ends. Amounts already paid for the current billing period are not prorated or refunded, except where a refund is required by law. These billing rules will also be presented at signup.
10. Future price or feature changes
TOPC may change listing prices or plan features over time. We will not quietly apply a new recurring price to an existing paid subscription without giving reasonable advance notice and explaining the change and available options.
Where a material change affects an existing paid subscription, we will provide any notice or choice required by applicable law.
11. Images, logos and listing content
You must have the right to provide any logo, image, text or other material you submit to TOPC. You give TOPC permission to use, resize, crop and display that material as reasonably necessary to operate and promote your directory listing and TOPC's directory services.
You keep ownership of your material. This permission ends when the material is no longer reasonably needed for your listing or related records, subject to ordinary backups and legal record-keeping requirements.
12. Business standards and prohibited listings
Businesses must comply with laws and requirements that apply to their own services. A TOPC listing does not replace any licence, registration, qualification, insurance, working-with-children requirement, permit or other obligation that may apply.
TOPC may refuse, pause or remove a listing where we reasonably believe information is materially false or misleading, the listing is being used unlawfully, community features are being manipulated, the business falls outside the directory's scope, or keeping the listing would create a material safety, legal or integrity concern.
13. Reports, complaints and moderation
Users may report issues with listings. A report does not automatically mean the complaint is correct. TOPC may review relevant information and, where appropriate, contact the business before deciding what directory action to take.
TOPC is not a regulator or dispute-resolution service and does not promise to resolve private disputes between a business and its customers.
14. No exclusivity
A TOPC listing is non-exclusive. We may list multiple businesses offering similar services in the same area, and businesses are free to advertise or list elsewhere.
15. Liability and legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including where the Australian Consumer Law applies.
To the extent permitted by law, TOPC is not responsible for indirect commercial loss or for outcomes that depend on customer demand, user choices, third-party services or information supplied by the business.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as TOPC develops. Changes that materially affect an existing paid subscription will be handled consistently with the notice principles above and applicable law. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Before paid listings go live
We'll finalise the payment provider, billing date, cancellation effective date and treatment of any already-paid billing period, then make sure those details match the signup flow and these terms.
